Sweet 1959 Austin Healey Bugeyed Sprite for sale!

“AURORA,” excellent restored ’60 Bugeye driver for sale! New video!

IMG_9615Here’s a great Austin-Healey Sprite, well-restored by the prior owner and ready for a buyer who is looking for an excellent “no apologies” driver.

AN5L 41028 (“Aurora”) is a mostly stock car with 948 engine and drum brakes, plus minilight wheels and a nice flip-forward nose (with great latches) for superior engine access. The carbs are upgraded to 1.25 inch HS2 models which provide better performance and are just an all around better design than the original H1 variety. Thus the car drives great and is tons of fun. (HS2 carbs are common and were fit on later Sprites when new) Click “more” below the video to see more pictures!

This car also has new floors and rockers, which make for a very solid body, and excellent door fit, all of which was coated with a very good base-clear paint job, all done within the past few years. A new grill, light sockets, windshield, sway bar, new tonneau cover, good top and side curtains round out the package. The car is also fit with a nice Moto Lita steering wheel and a new starter and generator.

The interior is quite nice, with new black seat covers and foams, with matching red piping.

The car shows 9670 miles. Nice lap belts and head light grills are also fit. We’ve gone through and serviced the car, and put in new front wheel cylinders and brake shoes, as well as a new clutch slave cylinder. We’ve also repaired the fuel gauge, and put in a new metal fuel sender float which won’t be compromised by ethanol in modern fuel.

The car is everything you need for immediate Bugeye fun. This is a really nice car with everything handled, ready for a new home! Call or email for pricing!
