I find it extra satisfying to drive a bugeye in the winter.
It’s special enough to enjoy these cars in the summer so in January, when they’re all supposed to be hibernating, it’s a real treat. This year, the roads are dry and the winter is mild in the northeast, so we can keep the cars moving while the roadways are still salt and sand free. A hardtop helps.
Thus it is with a big smile that I share this picture of one of my personal Bugeyes (called “the egg”) when it greeted me outside on a January night, 15 degrees and ready to take me home.
