1960 Restored Bugeye for sale, great fun, with 1275 engine!

IMG_0483IMG_0550This is Murphy, a 1960 bugeye that was very well restored. He has no rust, solid floor pans and a great, new shiny paint job.

Murph has a powerful 1275 engine, a new front disk brake upgrade, further upgraded downdraft Weber carburetor, and super-nice aftermarket minilight wheels. The engine has just had a valve job, with all new valves and new manganese bronze guides. He also has a performance exhaust with header. All these modifications make Murphy more fun to drive with better performance! And this Bugeye sounds great!

Recent maintenance includes a new slave cylinder and new front shock absorbers.

He also has a great top and the original non-sliding side curtains, in nice condition. The interior is really nice too! Check out the interior in the photos-Murphy has the correct original type of rubber door liners, and the dash is correct and looks great! Murphy comes with a recent tonneau, and it’s fine but we fit them better and the new owner might want a new tonneau to match the overall impressive appearance of the car. Fortunately the tonneau is this car’s one weak point, and that’s easy for us to fix.

I’ll post some underside pictures as soon as I can get the car back on the lift-it’s excellent, no rust, and all restored! The engine bay is also extremely clean (see photo).

This car drives great and looks great! Great fun! More pictures will be posted here soon! Murphy is ready for Spring fun, and we can ship you this car anywhere in North America this March!
