Stunning Bronze 1960 Bugeye for Sale, “Bertel.”

What’s your favorite Bugeye Color? Bertel’s Bronze color is my personal favorite and I applaud the restorer for making an excellent choice!

Bert is fresh in from Florida we’ll have her prepared for sale shortly. She’s a well-restored car with a stunning paint job. She has a flip-forward nose, and 948 engine as well as a new black interior with new black seats with white piping. Call or email for more information. More pictures coming soon!

We get lots of emails from readers asking about Bugeye colors. The original dealer offered palette included olde English white, iris blue, cherry red (a dark red), nevada whitehall beige and dark green followed by a lighter leaf green.

Nowadays, bright candy apple red seems most popular, even though it was not originally offered. Green seems to be the second most popular, followed by white and then blue and beige. This is our own subjective evaluation of the current most common colors-of course we all have our personal favorites.

I happen to love unusual colors on these cars, and this bronze car is elegant and stately-a one of a kind Bugeye!
